ToastWiz is operated by Archelaus LLC, doing business as ToastWiz. This page describes what we collect, why, who processes it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What you give us
To write a wedding speech we ask about the couple, your relationship to them, and the stories you want told. Some of it is about you; much of it is about other people. We treat it with care.
- Your name, email address, and questionnaire answers.
- The preview and the speeches we write from your answers.
- A payment record from Stripe, including the email and billing details you enter at checkout. We never see or store your card details.
- Your browser type and IP address when you start checkout, used to connect your payment to your order and to measure our advertising.
How we use it
- To write your preview and your speeches, and to email them to you.
- To take payment, give refunds, and answer your messages.
- To send discount reminders, only if you confirm by email that you want them. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the service running and secure, and to fix errors.
- To measure whether our advertising works, as described below.
We do not sell your information. We do not use your answers or speeches to train models.
Who processes it
- JotForm: hosts the questionnaire and receives your answers.
- Xano: our database and server, where your answers, preview, and speeches are stored.
- OpenAI and Anthropic: write your preview and speeches. Your answers are sent to them as part of each request, only to write your own speeches.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Postmark: sends your speeches and our emails.
- Sentry: receives error reports from our server so we can find and fix problems. A report can include your account ID and technical details of the error.
- Webflow: hosts this website.
- Google: our site loads Google Tag Manager, which may set cookies for site analytics and advertising measurement.
- Meta (Facebook): when you buy, our server tells Meta a purchase happened so we can measure our ads. It sends a hashed (one-way scrambled) form of your checkout email, a hashed postal code and country, your IP address, and the purchase amount. Meta never receives your answers or your speeches.
- Klaviyo: holds an older email list from before September 2026; we only use it to stop emails to people on it, and we no longer add anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your answers and speeches so we can resend them if you lose the email and support your purchase. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see below). We keep payment records longer, because tax and accounting rules require it; those records do not contain your speeches.
Your choices
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete your answers and speeches. We will do it, and it cannot be undone.
- Stop our reminder emails with the unsubscribe link, or by writing to us.
Email info@toastwiz.com and a person will handle it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
ToastWiz is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If there is a breach
If a breach affects your private information and you live in New York, we will notify you as New York General Business Law § 899-aa (the SHIELD Act) requires — in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, and no later than 30 days after the breach is discovered, unless a law-enforcement agency determines that notice would impede a criminal investigation. Wherever you live, we will also notify you as other state and federal breach-notification law requires.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new date.
